ISLAND CURRENT FLEET GOOD ACTION
The ISLAND CURRENT FLEET has been doing GREAT on the local porgy trips. Limits are easily being caught with all QUAILTY size fish coming over the rail. As a by-catch there have been a good showing of Sea Bass mixed in as well. The better action has been caught on sandworms.
Yesterday, 6/29 Bob from Carmel, NY chartered out the ISLAND CURRENT for an excellent day of FLUKE fishing. Bob took the pool on the third drop of the day nailing a 6 1/4 pounder.
Night fishing was good on Monday, 6/28 as Capt. Brendan reported a late bite but good fishing for striped bass up to 30 pounds.
