CODFISHING REPORT 1/28/10 (1/28/10)

Today, 1/28 Capt. Brendan was at the helm of the ISLAND CURRENT III sailing with a light load of fares. He reported a slow pick in morning, still reading massive amounts of bait. The afternoon bite improved greatly. The boat stayed out a little over an hour later and put a decent catch together. High hook was Peter Tabakka from CT with 7 keepers. The weather was fine and the boat drifted most of the day. Pool fish was 11 pounds. The fish were caught on fresh skimmer clams.
