Goliath Porgies & Humpback Sea Bass (Sept. thru Oct.) These trips will be aboard the new ISLAND CURRENT II heading either into the Altantic Ocean or Eastern part of Long Island Sound; fishing wrecks, reefs, or rockpiles. Last year these trips produced some of our largest Sea Bass & Porgies. There is a strict 30 passenger limit; $85 per person. September thru October leaving at 5 AM. NOVEMBER 50/50 BLACKFISH TRIPS The November 50/50 Trips were a big hit and will continue to run in 2008. These trips are intended for serious BLACKFISH anglers. These trips have a special early departure leaving at 6:00 AM and allow anglers an extended day of blackfishing. There is a strict 12 person limit and the cost is $120.00 per person. The unique aspect of this trip is that the boat takes $720.00 and the other $720.00 goes to the angler who catches the largest blackfish of the day. So someone, out of the 12 people on board, will take home $720.00. ULTRA MARATHON BLACKFISH SPECIAL (NOV.) These trips are run aboard the NEW ISLAND CURRENT II allowing us greater range to hit easterly wrecks, reefs, and rock piles that are seldom fished. These trips have a special early departure leaving at 5:00 AM and return in the evening. There is a strict 25-person limit and cost $85.00 per person. Friday Dates: November 7th & November 21st

Ocean Wreckfishing We will be fishing all winter long heading out to the famous 17 Fathoms, New Grounds, and surrounding wrecks and hangs. These grounds produce monster blackfish with pool fish generally going into the double digits. Besides catching these giant blackfish anglers also enjoy catching both ling and codfish as a by-catch. These trips are available for private charter and open boat reservations. Ocean trips leave at 5 AM DAILY and the fare is $95 per person. Reservations are strongly recommended.
